The appearance of the new Volkswagen sedan, which does not need gasoline, has been revealed
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT) has declassified the new electric sedan Volkswagen ID.Unix 07. Its production will be established at the Volkswagen plant in the Chinese province of Anhui.

Volkswagen ID.Unyx 07 is the second model of the Unix series for the Chinese market and the first one, which is built on the new electric architecture of Volkswagen, developed specifically for the Middle Kingdom. It is a mid-size sedan with a length of 4853 mm, a width of 1852 mm and a height of 1566 mm with a wheelbase of 2826 mm. The car’s appearance bears the hallmarks of the ID.Unix family, with sharp headlights, hidden door handles, and enlarged bumpers.
The MIIT documentation mentions only one modification of the Volkswagen ID.Unyx 07, with a single-motor, all-electric powertrain producing 228 horsepower. However, according to rumors, versions with two electric motors will also be available. The electric car’s autonomy will be provided by a lithium-iron-phosphate battery manufactured by CATL, the capacity of which is not specified.
The premiere of the Volkswagen ID.Unyx 07 in China is scheduled for 2026. It will be released as part of Volkswagen’s new strategy for the Chinese market, along with two other new models.
Earlier, analysts named the most popular used cars in Russia. These also included Volkswagen models.
