A completely new Hongqi crossover has been unveiled. Will it be available in Russia?
The new Hongqi HS6 hybrid crossover has been photographed in an official photo.
The Hongqi company unveiled the new HS6 hybrid crossover at the Changchun Air Show. It is built on the new hybrid platform “Honghu” from Hongqi and can travel up to 205 kilometers on electricity alone, the press service of the Chinese brand reported to “Auto News of the Day”.

The car’s exterior was created under the supervision of British chief designer Giles Taylor. The appearance of the new product is emphasized by a massive chrome radiator grille with vertical chrome slats in the form of falling streams of a waterfall, a signature red line in the form of a banner and LED optics with family features of the brand.

The rear LED lights are designed in the shape of the brand logo, distinguished by streamlined and dynamic lines. The sharp edges of the crystals are combined with soft gradient light strips, creating a unique play of light and shadow. The exhaust system is designed in a hidden style, which gives the rear end a particularly neat look with an emphasis on the environmental component of the model.
Depending on the configuration, the crossover is equipped with 18- or 20-inch alloy wheels with 235/60 R18 or 255/45 R20 tires. The dimensions of the crossover are 4925 mm in length, 1970 mm in width and 1740 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2925 mm, due to which it has a spacious interior with a high level of comfort both in the front and in the rear.
There are no plans yet to supply the hybrid Hongqi HS6 to the Russian market, the Hongqi press service emphasized.
Meanwhile, just a month ago, the Hongqi brand expanded its lineup in Russia with a new seven-seat crossover HS7. Being the flagship of the brand on the Russian market, it is offered in two trim levels – Deluxe and Executive – and costs at least 4,790,000 rubles.
