A new crossover adapted for driving with animals will appear in Russia

Quto: deliveries of new compact crossovers Jaecoo J6 to dealers have begun in the Russian Federation

The Jaecoo brand, owned by Chery, plans to introduce a third model to the Russian market by the end of the year: the full-size crossover J8 and the “medium” J7 will be joined by the compact SUV J6. The new model has already appeared at a number of dealers, Quto reports.

With a body length of 4.38 m, width of 1.86 m and height of 1.65 m, the new Jaecoo J6 is equipped with three types powertrains, including a hybrid and all-wheel drive with two electric motors. The most powerful of them produces 279 hp. and 385 torque, which allows it to accelerate to 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds.

The electric version of the model also has a battery with a capacity of 60.9 kilowatt-hours, a full charge of which is enough for about 400 kilometers of autonomous travel.

In terms of equipment, the “Russian” Jaecoo J6 will be able to boast a panoramic roof with an area of 1.45 m², climate control with air filtration function, a multimedia system with a 13.2-inch touchscreen display and voice control and many other options. Special attention is paid to the convenience of owners with pets – the cabin has ventilation zones, low thresholds and seat upholstery resistant to animal claws.
