A new loaded pickup truck will appear in Russia: Nissan platform, Mitsubishi engine and gearbox like BMW
The Oting brand, owned by the Chinese concern Sinomach, has announced the start of sales in Russia of its new futuristic pickup truck Z9, created on the Nissan Frontier Pro platform. The car has already passed certification according to the OTTS standard (vehicle type approval). The Oting press service told Avtonovosti Dnya that this is the final stage before the new model is released on the Russian market in the fall of 2025.
“Completion of OTTS certification for Oting Z9 is not just a formality, but an important stage in preparation for the model’s entry into the Russian market. We have passed all stages of testing, confirming the highest level of safety, reliability and compliance of Oting Z9 with the expectations of Russian consumers. We are currently completing negotiations with the plant on pricing policy.
