The driver’s side airbag and the improved ERA-GLONASS unit with an automatic activation system, which have already begun to be installed on the “regular” LADA Niva Legend, will appear on the LADA Niva Sport by the end of 2025. According to a source, sporty Nivas with these options will appear at dealerships in December. Currently, as the source said, a custom campaign for them is underway in the dealer network: the old configuration code 2121S-002-51 (PFA 1 + LED DRL) will be replaced with the new 2121S-000-51 (PFA 2 + LED DRL).

Meanwhile, if insiders are to be believed, “regular” LADA Niva Legends with automatic ERA-GLONASS and side airbags have already begun to be shipped to dealerships. “Live” photos of a blue car ready for shipment were published in early October by the RCI News Telegram channel.

According to the price list at the disposal of “Auto News of the Day”, the SUVs with extended equipment in the initial Classic and Luxe configurations will cost 18 thousand rubles more, and in the top-end Urban and Black versions, due to the appearance of fog lights, they will cost 26 thousand rubles more.

Prices for LADA Niva Sport with new options are still unknown. Now the SUV with a 122-horsepower engine and more than a hundred other modifications costs 1,699,000 rubles.

Unlike the regular Niva, the sports Niva Sport is equipped with a 16-valve naturally aspirated 1.6-liter engine, the characteristics of which are improved due to a lightweight intake and exhaust system, other camshafts and special controller firmware. Thanks to this, the SUV accelerates to 100 km / h in 11.8 seconds, and its maximum speed reaches 162 km / h.
