No new details Moskvich representatives did not disclose any new products. The manufacturer previously stated that both M-series models are built on a fundamentally new platform and are not modifications of current vehicles (Moskvich 3, Moskvich 6, Moskvich 8 – ed.), but "completely new crossovers." They also received a unique emblem reminiscent of a battlement of the Kremlin wall.
The mid-size Moskvich M70 crossover is equipped with two engines, depending on the trim level – 1.5 and 2.0 liters. A 2.0-liter engine is the only option for the "senior," larger M90 crossover. Both cars have a nine-speed automatic transmission, while the "senior" M90 has all-wheel drive, and the M70 has front-wheel drive, but in the future it will also have an all-wheel drive version.
Speaking about the body of the new Moskvich, plant representatives emphasized that all external body panels of the M line of cars are fully galvanized in order to reliably protect the metal from corrosion and extend the service life of the cars.

The start of sales of "Moskvich" M70 and M90 is scheduled for early spring 2026. According to auto expert Sergei Tselikov, "live" cars are already starting to be sent to dealerships almost throughout Russia. Before their market launch, both models undergo a series of tests tailored to the specifics of Russian roads and climate.
Earlier, the AvtoSpetsTsentr group of companies reported that the M70 crossover will compete with Haval, Chery, and Omoda, while the larger M90 family SUV will compete for buyers with Exeed, Geely, and Voyah. The company predicts the former will cost around 3.5 million rubles. The second one will be priced a little higher - it will suit large families, summer residents and travelers planning trips in a large group.
