It has become known how much the new Geely crossover will cost in Russia
In November last year, the hybrid crossover Geely Galaxy Starship 7 debuted in China, and this fall it will appear on the Russian market under the new name Geely EX5 EM-i. The portal “Chinese cars” found out how much it will cost in Russia.

Customs duties, excise duties, VAT and recycling fees will cost another 1.4 million. And if we add logistics costs and the distributor and dealer margin to the resulting amount, we can assume that the retail price of the hybrid Geely EX5 EM-i in Russia will be about 3.7-4 million rubles.
Let us remind you that the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 (EX5 EM-i) is built on the GEA modular architecture. This is a mid-size crossover with a length of 4740 mm, a width of 1905 and a height of 1865 mm with a wheelbase of 2755 mm. It is powered by a parallel hybrid powertrain based on a 1.5-liter 99-horsepower gasoline engine combined with a 218-horsepower electric motor and a traction battery with a capacity of 18.4 kW h. The maximum range of the car in hybrid mode reaches 940 km according to the WLTP cycle.
In Russia, the new Geely crossover will be offered in two trim levels: the base Pro and the top-end Max. In the “base” it will receive 18-inch wheels, a winter package and a rear-view camera, while in the top version it will get 19-inch wheels, a panoramic roof with a hatch, an electric trunk door, heated rear seats, a set of driver assistance systems, a projection screen, a Flyme Sound audio system and a 360-degree view system.
Meanwhile, sales of the updated Geely Cityray crossover, presented in Russia since October last year, are about to begin in China. On the domestic market it will cost less than the Granta in Russia.
