The premiere of the new electric crossover BYD Song Ultra EV with a range of 620 or 710 kilometers on the CLTC cycle took place in China. It is available to order in four trim levels priced from 151,900 to 179,900 yuan, or about 1.8-2.1 million rubles at the current exchange rate.

Externally, the BYD Song Ultra EV crossover stands out with its minimalist design without a radiator grille, hidden door handles, black painted side pillars, rear lights combined into a single element and large wheels with 19-inch alloy wheels of an original design. Buyers will be offered a choice of six body colors.

Inside the crossover, the driver will be greeted by a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, a 15.6-inch display of the infotainment system and a 26-inch projection screen. The seats are ventilated, heated, massage and electrically adjustable. The trunk volume under the hood is 150 liters, and the main luggage compartment in the rear of the body has a volume of 730 liters, which can be increased to 1,659 liters with the seats folded.

The new BYD Song Ultra EV is powered by a rear-axle-mounted electric motor with a power output of 240 kW (326 hp) or 270 kW (367 hp) and 305 Nm of torque. The maximum speed is limited to 210 km/h.

    The autonomy of the new electric car is provided by a BYD Short Blade Battery 2.0 with a capacity of 68.4 or 82.7 kW h, which allows you to travel 620 or 710 kilometers on a single charge, respectively. Charging from 10% to 70% takes only five minutes, and from 10% to 97% takes about nine minutes.

      Even in the “base” BYD Song Ultra EV is equipped with an intelligent body damping control system DiSus-C, seven airbags and a tire puncture stabilization system. The DiPilot 300 system, which includes LiDAR and 27 different built-in sensors, is available as an option.
