The special edition Silk Way received its name in honor of the annual The Silk Way rally-raid version features an exclusive bright orange exterior, unique interior trim with contrasting inserts and stitching, a leather steering wheel with a perforated rim, a snorkel, an expedition roof rack, LED headlights, power side steps, and special off-road tires.

The powertrain specifications and the extent of the technical modifications in this version are unknown, but according to insiders, the Niva Sport Silk Way is more powerful than the standard Niva Sport and has a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter engine boosted to 144 horsepower. Also, according to rumors, the car is equipped with an upgraded suspension and a modified gearbox.

The start date of sales of the LADA Niva Sport Silk Way has not yet been disclosed. It is possible that the most powerful “Niva” will enter the market as early as 2026.

It was previously reported that the LADA Niva Sport SUV, which went on sale in April of this year, in just a few months received a number of design improvements, many of which are not even noticeable visually. For example, the problem of the rear suspension arms bending, which the owners initially complained about, was fixed in the first month after the car went on sale.
