A new “GAZelle” for large loads has appeared in Russia. What is its difference
The Gorky Automobile Plant has expanded the “GAZelle NN” family with a new van for large-sized loads. This car differs from the standard one by its increased roof height and has a dual-slope rear axle, Quto found out.
It is specified that buyers of such vans can choose between a standard and extended wheelbase version, which corresponds to the body sizes H3L2 and H3L3 according to the factory classification.
In the version with a single-row three-seater cabin, the volume of the cargo compartment is 11.5 or 13.5 cubic meters, and in the seven-seater cargo-passenger versions it is slightly smaller and is designed for 7.5 or 9.5 cubic meters. The load capacity of the all-metal van varies from 800 kg to 1 ton.
“The increased internal height of the body to almost two meters and high doors open up new possibilities for transporting various goods,” said representatives of the Gorky Automobile Plant.
