Starting today, September 16, orders for the fourth-generation Skoda Octavia are open in Russia. The car is offered in three trim levels: Active Plus, Ambition Plus, and Style Plus. The starting price for the base Active Plus version with a 1.6 MPI engine and a five-speed manual transmission is 1,338,000 rubles, while the top-of-the-line trim starts at 1,700,000 rubles.
The standard technical package of the new OCTAVIA is more extensive than in previous models. This includes full LED optics, 16-inch wheels, a modern multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen display, heated front seats, heated electric outside mirrors, and ISOFIX mounts for a child seat in the front passenger seat. The standard package also includes a keyless start button, electric windows, an electromechanical parking brake, and a full-size spare tire. For a more comfortable drive, the manual transmission model is equipped with a hill-start assist. Other features include dual-zone climate control, cruise control with a speed limiter, rear parking sensors, a driver fatigue sensor, and additional airbags. The price of a model with a 1.4 TSI engine in this configuration starts at 1,398,000 rubles.
The Ambition Plus trim adds front LED fog lights, cruise control with a speed limiter, rear parking sensors, a rain and light sensor, and side curtain airbags. Seats with lumbar support make the car even more comfortable. The SmartLink platform allows you to connect smartphones via Wi-Fi. The liftback has 16-inch VELORUM alloy wheels.
Optional features include cornering light function for fog lights, LED rear lights with dynamic turn signals, chrome side window trim, tinted rear windows, front sports seats, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12-speaker sound system (plus a subwoofer), a rear-view camera with a washer, an electric tailgate, and a heated steering wheel. The price of the new OCTAVIA Ambition Plus 1.4 TSI starts from 1,499,000 rubles.
The top-of-the-line Style Plus version features chrome trim at the bottom of the radiator grille, brand logo projection onto the ground when the front doors are open, 17-inch alloy wheels, and LED taillights in addition to fog lights with cornering light function, which are already included as standard.
The interior features ambient LED lighting and a multifunctional two-spoke steering wheel with leather trim and heating, combined leather and artificial suede seat upholstery, and a rear armrest. The standard equipment includes the KESSY FULL keyless entry system (all doors and engine start), voice control, front parking sensors, blind spot monitoring and reverse parking exit system. Also available are remote folding of the rear seat backrests from the trunk and automatic dimming of the folding electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors. The multimedia system with a 10-inch display has 8 speakers, as does the radio-navigation system, which can display a map in various scales on the digital instrument panel and central screen. These functions are controlled by a touch slider located below the display.
Full LED matrix headlights are optionally available. They automatically recognize passing and oncoming traffic and reflective objects (such as road signs), and adapt to the road situation and weather conditions. The driver is perfectly oriented regardless of the circumstances – in the city, on the highway, or in the rain, the headlights automatically select and adjust the optimal mode. In addition, while driving, the high beams can be left on without blinding other road users. The list of options also includes outside mirrors with memory function, parking assistant (parallel/perpendicular), and electric drive for both front seats with memory function. The price of the new OCTAVIA Style Plus 1.4 TSI starts at 1,700,000 rubles.
In Russia, three petrol engines are available for the new ŠKODA OCTAVIA:
1. 1.6 MPI/110 hp:
– with a manual 5-speed gearbox.
– with an automatic 6-speed gearbox.
2. 1.4 TSI/150 hp:
– with a manual 6-speed gearbox; top speed 227 km/h, acceleration to 100 km/h in 8.1 s, combined fuel consumption 5.8 l/100 km.
– with an 8-speed automatic transmission; top speed 223 km/h, acceleration to 100 km/h in 9.0 s, combined fuel consumption 5.5 l/100 km.
3. 2.0 TSI/190 hpwith a 7-speed preselective robotic gearbox DSG.
