Jaguar Land Rover announced the start of sales of the new generation Land Rover Defender SUV in Russia. At the start of sales, only the long-wheelbase version of the Land Rover Defender 110 will be available to Russian buyers, while the short-wheelbase Land Rover Defender 90 model will appear next year. Prices for the SUV start at 4,060,000 rubles.
The engine lineup is represented by three variants – two diesel engines with outputs of 200 and 249 horsepower, as well as a six-cylinder petrol engine with output of 400 horsepower with mild hybrid technology. The Defender modification with a 249-horsepower diesel engine is equipped with an intelligent all-wheel drive, which is controlled by an electronic system that optimizes torque distribution between the axles. The mild-hybrid version features permanent all-wheel drive.
All vehicles are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case with a low-range gearbox. The base package includes adaptive independent air suspension, LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, a multimedia system with navigation, and a 3D surround view system. The S trim level for 4,359,000 rubles received leather seats with electrical adjustments, a keyless entry system and a virtual instrument panel with a diagonal of 12.3 inches.
The next SE trim level will cost 4,299,000 rubles – for Defender 90. The price of the SE trim level in the 110 body is 4,802,000 rubles. The equipment of these cars is expanded with premium headlights with LED, electric seats with memory, and a 400W Meridian audio system with 11 speakers.
The HSE package is equipped with matrix headlights, a sliding panoramic roof, ventilated front seats, and adaptive cruise control. The HSE package is only available for diesel versions with 249 hp. Such a car will cost at least 5,675,000 rubles.
The maximum X package costs from 6,892,000 rubles). There are also X-Dynamic (from 4,521,000 rubles) and First Edition (from 5,309,000 rubles) versions. These modifications received a number of design and stylistic elements.
