Although the market is experiencing a shortage of cars due to problems with semiconductors, this does not mean that Russia does not expect any bright premieres. In 2022, car enthusiasts can expect at least 10 of the most interesting new products.
Haval Dargo
This year, the Chinese brand Great Wall has become the most successful of the Chinese brands represented in Russia. The Haval Jolion crossover entered the top five most popular SUVs in Russia, beating such bestsellers as the Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq. In 2022, another potential bestseller will be presented in Russia – the Haval Dargo, known in China as the Big Dog. The car will be assembled at a plant in the Tula region.
Lada Vesta FL
The updated Lada Vesta FL should debut in the first quarter of 2022, if there are no interruptions in the supply of electronic components. The car will receive updated LED optics, new fenders, hood and radiator grille. Also, the top versions will have a vertical tablet of the multimedia system in the cabin.
Lexus LX
The premiere of the new Lexus LX in Russia took place together with the world premiere. In technical terms, the SUV will be similar to the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, but will have a more luxurious interior.
Infiniti QX60
Next year, the Infiniti model range in Russia is expected to be replenished. The Japanese will bring to us the QX60 crossover, which will receive a V6 gasoline engine with a working volume of 3.5 liters and a power of 299 horsepower. The power unit will be paired with a nine-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Range Rover
Visually, the new generation of the new Range Rover differs minimally from its predecessor – in the unusual design of the rear lights. Sales will start in the spring of 2022, but earlier the price tag for the top version of the SUV appeared on the network. It will cost 34 million rubles.
Nissan Pathfinder
The new Nissan Pathfinder SUV is already on sale in the USA, but it will arrive here only at the end of winter 2022. The car received a modern design and many technological functions. A 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine will be installed under the hood. In Russia, it will be de-rated to 249 horsepower. The car will lose the CVT and get a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Subaru WRX
Fans of the Subaru brand are eagerly awaiting the appearance in Russia of the Subaru WRX sedan, which will appear here next year. The car is built on the Subaru Global Platform. It will get a 2.4 turbo engine with a capacity of 275 horsepower.
Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT
The Porsche company positions the model as the fastest crossover in the world. The Turbo GT engine produces 640 horsepower. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds.
Audi RS3
The charged hatch and sedan Audi RS3 will appear in Russia in early 2022. The model received a turbo engine with a working volume of 2.5 liters, which produces 400 horsepower and 500 Newtons of torque. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes less than four seconds.
Kia Sportage
The new Kia Sportage is extremely popular in Korea. This crossover is also expected in our country. The car has received a completely new look. Details about the new product for the Russian market will be known closer to the start of sales.
