The Russian representative office of the Chinese brand Geely has announced the start date for pre-orders for the Tugella crossover. Official dealers will begin accepting pre-orders on November 16th.
The new Geely Tugella crossover will take the flagship position in the Chinese brand’s Russian model lineup. The crossover is named after the Tugela Falls, which is located in the Republic of South Africa. Designer Peter Hobury worked on the crossover’s exterior. The Tugella model is built on the CMA modular platform, which was developed in collaboration with Volvo. Under the hood of the crossover is a two-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Geely Tugella’s trunk volume is 326 liters, which increases to 1,077 liters with the rear seats folded. Details on prices and configurations will be announced closer to the start of pre-orders.
