Nissan continues to work on the new generation of the legendary Nissan GT-R sports car. As stated by the head of the Nissan brand Makoto Uchida, engineers are currently looking for possible options for further development of the popular model. This is due to the fact that environmental requirements are becoming stricter in Europe and around the world. It is quite possible that the Nissan GT-R sports car will soon become an electric vehicle.
Now the developers of the new Nissan GT-R are considering the possibility of reducing harmful emissions in order to maintain sales of the car in Europe, where strict environmental standards are in force. The new GT-R may become a hybrid or fully electric. If this cannot be done, the new generation of Nissan GT-R in the R36 body will never appear on the European market.
Recall that the current generation of Nissan GT-R is equipped with a gasoline engine with a working volume of 3.8 liters and a power of 710 horsepower. Nissan is currently selling the latest versions of the model in the Final Edition.
