Hennessey unveils 1,842-horsepower hypercar

Tuning studio Hennessey Performance Engineering presented the production hypercar Venom F5, which has a power of 1842 horsepower. The car will be produced in a limited edition of 24 units. The price of the Hennessey Venom F5 will be $2.1 million (more than 150 million rubles).

Customers will receive the first hypercars next year. The Venom F5 is equipped with a V8 engine with a working volume of 6.6 liters and two turbochargers. Its power is 1842 horsepower, and the torque reaches 1617 Nm. This is the most powerful engine ever installed in a production car. The car also received a choice of driving modes. Among the modes are Sport, Track, Drag, Wet and F5. A seven-speed robotic gearbox is installed together with the engine. Rear-wheel drive only.

The Venom F5 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds. The hypercar reaches 200 km/h in 4.7 seconds. Acceleration to 300 km/h will take 8.4 seconds, and to 400 km/h – 15.5 seconds. The manufacturer claims that the Hennessey Venom F5 is capable of accelerating to 512 km/h.

The interior of the hypercar is made only of genuine leather and carbon fiber. The seats and the multi-function steering wheel in the form of a steering wheel are made of carbon fiber. A nine-inch Alpine screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support is used as multimedia. A seven-inch instrument panel screen is installed in front of the steering wheel. In the near future, the Hennessey Venom F5 is planned to be tested on the runway of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. There they will try to accelerate the car to maximum speed.
