Geely-owned Radar unveils its first electric pickup truck

The Chinese company Geely has created a new sub-brand Radar, which will manufacture pickups. The first model of the new brand is the electric pickup truck Radar RD6. So far, the car is presented only in official photographs. In addition to pickups, the Radar brand is planned to produce goods for outdoor activities.

Chinese media report that the Radar brand created by Geely will manufacture premium pickups for outdoor enthusiasts. The first model of the new brand is called Radar RD6. According to preliminary information, the pickup will be presented with front and rear wheel drive, and its power will range from 200 to 400 horsepower.

The dimensions of the Radar RD6 will be comparable to the Toyota Hilux pickup. The cabin can accommodate five passengers, and the body can accommodate two surfboards. In the photos, the pickup truck is equipped with off-road tires from BF Goodrich. A wide range of accessories will also be offered for the pickup, including a cargo bed cover, mini-fridge and radio. The next models will be mid-size and full-size pickups.
