Dongfeng unveiled a 680-horsepower electric crossover.

The Chinese concern Dongfeng presented the Voyah Free electric crossover. The car has a power output of 680 horsepower, and the battery life is enough for 860 kilometers of travel. The electric crossover was created in collaboration with ItalDesign designers.

In its home country, the electric crossover costs 400 thousand yuan (4.4 million rubles). The Voyah Free model is a real embodiment of the i-Free concept car, which was presented in September of this year at the Beijing Auto Show. The crossover’s powertrain develops a power of 680 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.8 seconds. The maximum speed is limited to 200 km/h.

The base Voyah Free electric crossover can travel 500 kilometers without recharging. The hybrid version with a 109-horsepower 1.5-liter engine has a range of 860 kilometers. The gasoline engine is used to recharge the batteries. Standard equipment on the Voyah Free includes air suspension, adaptive cruise control, four-wheel cruise control, and power seats with heating, ventilation, and massage. All prices and configurations of Voyah Free will be announced in 2021.
