The Bavarian manufacturer is preparing to release the most powerful BMW X8 M SUV on the market. The new product will be the flagship model of the brand and will be more powerful than the Italian super crossover Lamborghini Urus S.
According to the British publication Autocar, the BMW X8 M SUV will receive a V8 engine with a hybrid function. The power plant will develop a fantastic power of 750 horsepower, which is 10 horsepower more than the Lamborghini Urus S super crossover. In fact, the BMW X8 M SUV will be more powerful and luxurious than the current flagship BMW X7.
The new product will receive slightly inclined rear body pillars in the style of a coupe-crossover. The BMW X8 M’s powertrain will consist of a 4.4-liter V8 gasoline engine and a 200-horsepower electric motor. The combined output of the two engines will be 750 horsepower. The SUV will use the transmission from the BMW M8 coupe. The standard version of the X8 is expected to debut in late 2021. The charged version of the BMW X8 M should not be expected before 2022.
