In Kabardino-Balkaria, an unusual Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV, which has undergone extensive tuning, is up for sale. The owner is asking 4,100,000 rubles for the car.
An ad for a 1998 Mercedes-Benz G500 SUV with almost 200,000 kilometers on the odometer appeared on the Avito online marketplace in Nalchik. Local craftsmen attempted to build an inexpensive 4×4 G500 model out of it. In Russia, a similar car sold for 20 million rubles, but the guys from Nalchik decided they could build a similar vehicle for less. For off-road capability, the Gelendvagen was equipped with portal axles from a Volvo C303 military SUV and 42-inch tractor wheels. The car comes with two sets of BBK and Maxxis Trepador tires. Additionally, the car was equipped with power bumpers, a Comeup12 electric winch and two snorkels. The interior remained unchanged.
