This afternoon, on the territory of the State Farm “Velikoselsky” in the village of Velikoye Selo, a 58-year-old mechanic from the workshop was driving a combine harvester and ran over two machine operators. One of them died.
According to the Investigative Committee, a 42-year-old man died at the scene of the incident. The second victim, a 64-year-old machine operator, was hospitalized.
It was established that the driver was intoxicated.
— A criminal case has been opened under Part 4 of Art. 317 (violation of traffic rules or the operation of vehicles by a person driving a vehicle while intoxicated, which negligently resulted in the death of a person) of the Criminal Code, – reported the Investigative Committee.
