Elon Musk is preparing a grand show: it has become known when Tesla will show the next-generation sports car
Tesla announced an event dedicated to the next-generation Roadster for October 1. It will show a new sports car, the release of which was postponed several times, reports Bloomberg.

The second generation Roadster was first shown in November 2017. In its Q2 results presentation, Tesla indicated that development of the car was still ongoing.
In April, Elon Musk talked about the Roadster during a discussion of Tesla’s first-quarter financial results. He suggested that the upcoming unveiling of the sports car could be one of the most spectacular demonstrations in history. The company often uses such events to attract the attention of buyers and investors.
The announcement of the October event included the phrase “Go for launch,” which in the context of rocket launches can be translated as “launch cleared.” It refers to SpaceX and, according to Bloomberg, could fuel discussions of a possible merger between the two companies. Musk has long been promoting Tesla and SpaceX together.
