Dozens of new models were unveiled at the Auto China 2026 Beijing Auto Show, but these crossovers and SUVs were the star attraction. From cutting-edge hybrids to powerful electric cars, the technology here borders on the fantastical. “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” compiled the TOP-5 main premieres of Beijing.
🚙 Li Auto L9 Livis – a “smart” SUV with L3 autopilot
One of the most talked about debuts of the exhibition.
The model received two 5-nm Mach 100 chips with a total capacity of up to 2560 TOPS – this is enough for L3 autonomous driving systems, where the car is able to drive independently in most scenarios.
What else is important:

⚡ AUDI E7X – a new generation electric Quattro
The joint project of Audi and SAIC has become one of the most technologically advanced premieres.

🛻 GAC Yue 7 — China’s answer to Defender and Prado
GAC invested more than 5.5 billion rubles in the development of this SUV.
It received:
- frame construction
- “chopped” design in the style of classic off-road models
- LiDAR on the roof
- air suspension with adjustable ground clearance
- digital chassis (steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire)
💎 Hongqi – a luxury hybrid with 843 hp.
The still unnamed SUV from the premium brand Hongqi looks as prestigious and brutal as possible.
Technically, this is already the level of supercars:

🚗 Xpeng GX – a spacious 6-seater SUV of the future
One of the most practical debuts of the exhibition.
