Haval presented the updated H9 SUV of the 2026 model year in Russia.
Haval presented the updated H9 SUV in Russia. The flagship model of the Haval Pro line received a slightly modified design with a new radiator grille, a mechanical key and a built-in Yandex Auto online services platform with the ability to update software over the air and voice control.

The main changes in the design of the Haval H9 2026 model year was a new radiator grille with a gray finish instead of silver, thanks to which the appearance of the car became more restrained. In addition, the wheel arch extensions are now made of black plastic – they emphasize the off-road character of the model and are more resistant to minor chips and damage.
In addition, black ceiling trim has become available for some trim levels, and the four already offered body colors (“Black Jade”, “Snow Onyx”, “Moon Basalt”, “Twilight Emerald”) are supplemented by a new gray color “Satin Selenite”. To unlock the external luggage box on the fifth door, no additional actions with the remote control key fob are now required. The updated Haval H9 comes standard with a third key with a mechanical “stinger” that can also be used to open and lock the doors.

A key digital update to the flagship “frame” was the integration of the Yandex Auto online services platform into the standard multimedia system. It provides access to Yandex Maps, Yandex Music, and Yandex Books. Quick access widgets to the relevant applications are available on the central 14.6-inch touchscreen. All services are synchronized via Yandex ID. By logging in, the car owner will receive the same set of settings, histories, and preferences saved on their other devices.
The Yandex Maps application allows you to plan a route taking into account the current traffic situation, helping you to promptly assess it. It includes functions for warnings about violation cameras, accidents, traffic restrictions, and other road events. After downloading the map to the device’s memory, the navigator can work without an internet connection in offline mode. The map is also duplicated on the digital instrument panel.
The Yandex Music application allows you to create your own playlists or will suggest songs, adapting to the user’s tastes through the My Wave stream. The Yandex Books service contains an extensive collection of audiobooks of various genres and eras.
In addition, the Haval H9 multimedia system now supports remote software updates “over the air”, without the need to visit the dealership. All you need is a stable internet connection. The driver can start the update process at any time convenient for him/herself.

The virtual voice assistant is a proprietary development of the Great Wall Motor concern. Now you can activate about 150 functions using your voice: from adjusting the climate control to activating the all-round camera and head-up display. The system recognizes more than 800 voice commands, distinguishing between the driver and passenger zones. The intelligent noise reduction function helps to identify voice requests with high accuracy.
For the previous model year Haval H9 SUVs, it will be possible to install additional digital services that give the H9 owner access to the Yandex Auto online services platform integrated into the car and a virtual voice assistant. The service will be available at official Haval Pro dealerships later. The start of provision, cost and procedure will be announced additionally.

For now, the updated SUV will only be available with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 218 hp. (380 Nm), an eight-speed classic “automatic” and a Torque-on-Demand all-wheel drive system, supplemented by a transfer case with a multi-plate fluid coupling and a forced locking function of the rear interwheel differential. In terms of price, it turned out to be 100 thousand rubles more expensive than the 2025 version of the 2025 model year.

We also note that sales of the updated Haval H9 in Russia have not yet begun, but this should happen in the near future. The manufacturer will announce the start of sales of the 2026 model year SUVs separately.
