Today, January 29, a waiting area for trucks was opened near the Kozlovichi road checkpoint on the Belarusian-Polish border. It is specified that it is the largest and best-equipped in Europe.
The waiting area occupies 18 hectares and is designed for 790 parking spaces for trucks. It has heated sanitary blocks, showers, a laundry and ironing room, smoking cabins, and rest areas. Refrigerated truck connection points have been established, and parking for passenger cars is provided. Entry and exit checkpoints and information boards are also available. The roadside service building will house a retail space and a cafe with 30 seats, which will be able to offer more than 5,100 dishes per day.
