Preparations for sales are underway: shipments of the first iCaur V27 SUVs have begun

The process of the official launch of the new hybrid SUV iCaur V27 from Chery in the Russian and other foreign markets has entered the home stretch. Yesterday, on January 13, the first batch of production cars left the port of Shanghai for abroad, the press service of iCaur reported to “Auto News of the Day”.

Before the shipment of the first batch The V27 has undergone a comprehensive testing program, with over 50 comprehensive tests conducted in a wide range of climate and road conditions. In China alone, the car has covered more than 1 million kilometers of endurance tests, according to iCaur.

The endurance tests included extreme temperatures from -40 °C in Heihe to over +50 °C in Turpan, routes across the Tibetan Plateau and coastal or marshy areas, tests on high-speed highways, cross-country ability in rainy conditions of Southeast Asia and operation in severe winter conditions. The iCaur V27 has demonstrated compliance with high international standards of reliability and operational sustainability.

At the start of serial production, special attention was paid to the sustainability of production processes and the reliability of supply chains – the iCaur V27 is ready for full-scale logistics and a phased launch of the model to the planned sales markets, the brand’s press service noted.

The synergy of modern comfort technologies with the advantages of a hybrid power plant allows you to achieve a feeling of drive every day. Intelligent system “10-in-1 Drive System” iCaur’s system combines ten key modules into a single, compact unit attached to the engine. This solution allows the system to be 27% smaller, 21% lighter, and 37% more powerful, achieving a peak efficiency of 95.17%. For users, this means improved controllability, lower energy consumption, and increased range.

For operation in a wide temperature range: from –35 °C to +60 °C – the V27 has an advanced “5D Smart Thermal Control System”. It includes 17 operating modes that adapt to various driving scenarios and external conditions.

    Large-scale events related to the launch of iCaur V27 are planned in many countries, including Russia. The dates and format of events on the Russian market will be announced later.
