Serial production of the all-new KIA Mohave SUV has begun at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad. According to the Russian press service of the KIA brand, sales of the new SUV will begin in the fourth quarter of 2020.
The new generation KIA Mohave remains a full-fledged frame SUV. The all-wheel drive system is electronically controlled with the ability to select driving modes depending on the road surface.
The new model is also equipped with a transfer case with a downshift and an electronically controlled differential lock. So far, only a V6 diesel engine with a displacement of three liters and a power of 249 horsepower has been announced for the KIA Mohave on the Russian market. The engine works with an eight-speed automatic transmission. KIA promises to provide more detailed information about the new product by the time sales start.
