An inexpensive Korean crossover will officially go on sale in Russia
Official: preparations are underway for the start of sales in the Russian Federation of the new KGM Actyon crossover
The Korean brand KGM, which under the “old” name SsangYong not only sold, but also produced its cars in Russia, plans to expand its current model range in our market with another crossover. This will be Actyon, also known to Russians under the SsangYong brand.

As the general director of the Russian distributor of KGM, Vitaly Osipov, said in the company’s official Telegram channel, deliveries of the new KGM Actyon to Russia are planned, but information on timing and prices will be known later.
“Yes, will be [delivered to Russia]. But we will announce the delivery dates and prices a little later,” said Vitaly Osipov.

At that time, the new rules for calculating the recycling fee, which came into force on December 1, were not yet in effect in Russia. According to them, when importing cars with more than 160 horsepower, one could no longer count on preferential rates.
At that time, new KGM Actyons were being imported to Russia from Korea in small quantities via parallel import, and prices for them in the cities of the Far East in September started at 2,510,000 rubles. Their equipment usually included a leather interior, a digital instrument panel, multimedia with a touch screen, a multi-function steering wheel with a leather rim, a surround view camera, a winter package with various heating options (including the steering wheel), an electronic parking brake, climate and cruise control, and a set of electronic driver assistance systems.

All KGM Actyons have the same power unit – a 1.5-liter 170-horsepower gasoline turbo engine, working in combination with a classic six-speed Aisin automatic and front or all-wheel drive, implemented using a clutch on the rear axle.
Let’s remember that from January 1, 2026, all KGM models in Russia became more expensive. Prices for the Torres, Tivoli and Korando crossovers, as well as the Rexton frame SUV, increased by 50,000-105,000 rubles, or 1.60-1.73%.
