It became known back in September that the Geely Preface sedan under the Volga brand could hit the Nizhny Novgorod conveyor, but there has been no official confirmation so far. Moreover, the company that owns the Volga brand denied this information, emphasizing that it “is not negotiating with Geely on the release of this company’s models in Russia.”

Earlier, the Volga K50 crossover, which is externally and technically similar to the Geely Monjaro, popular among Russians, was certified in Russia. It is planned to produce it with the same 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 238 hp. s., eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.
