The all-wheel-drive version of the TENET T4 compact crossover, which recently began arriving at dealerships across Russia, could account for 25-30% of the model’s total sales. Representatives of the AvtoSpetsTsentr Group of Companies expressed this opinion in a comment to the AVTOSTAT agency, noting growing customer interest in versions with improved off-road capability.
According to dealer estimates, the TENET T4 4WD version is primarily aimed at an audience aged 25-35. These are buyers who actively use the car outside the city – going to their dachas, traveling across the regions, and often encountering poor roads and seasonal weather conditions. At the same time, they are not prepared to overpay for larger and more expensive cars and view the compact segment as the optimal balance of price, functionality, and comfort in the 2025 auto market.
Market experts also note that some customers who initially planned to purchase the front-wheel drive TENET T4 may reconsider their decision in favor of the all-wheel drive version. However, no significant redistribution of demand within the brand’s model lineup is predicted; the new modification is expected to primarily attract new customers who had previously considered alternative models. The Haval Jolion 4WD and Belgee X50, which have already established a strong reputation and are aimed at a similar target audience, are named as key competitors of the all-wheel drive TENET T4.
The all-wheel drive TENET T4 is offered in Active and Prime trim levels. The Active version starts at 2,390,000 rubles, while the top-of-the-line Prime trim is priced at 2,550,000 rubles. Even the base trim level offers a wealth of features, including modern safety and driver assistance systems. The Prime version emphasizes comfort and technology: customers have access to a 360-degree camera system, dual-zone climate control, an expanded package of electronic assistants, and an improved multimedia system.
Amid increasing competition in the compact crossover segment, the combination of all-wheel drive, modern features, and a relatively affordable price can be a key factor when choosing a car. For many buyers considering which car to buy in the compact class, the TENET T4 4WD appears to be a practical and relevant solution.
Overall, the appearance of the TENET T4 with all-wheel drive can be considered a logical and timely step for the brand. All-wheel drive in the compact segment is increasingly ceasing to be a niche offering and becoming a mass demand, especially among young drivers who value the versatility of a car and its readiness for various operating conditions.
