New Citroën C3 Hybrid: specifications, prices and details
Citroën recently expanded the range of its popular C3 city car, introducing a new hybrid version. This move aims to meet growing demand for more efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles, while offering the performance and comfort customers expect from the French brand.
Design and dimensions
The new C3 Hybrid features a refreshed design, reminiscent of the clean, square lines previewed by the Citroën Oli concept. LED headlights with horizontal and vertical elements, as well as similarly designed rear lights, give the car a modern and distinctive look. The dimensions have been revised, with ground clearance increased by more than 16 cm, bringing the C3 closer to the compact crossover segment.
Engine and performance
The C3 Hybrid is powered by a 1.2 PureTech petrol engine producing 100 PS (75 kW), coupled to a 48-volt mild hybrid system. This system comprises an electric motor integrated into the new ë-DCS6 electrified dual-clutch transmission, capable of delivering up to 21 kW of additional power. Total torque reaches 205 Nm, improving acceleration and fuel efficiency. CO2 emissions are reduced by 10% compared to the pure petrol version, with a homologated value of 117 g/km in the WLTP combined cycle.
Consumption and efficiency
Thanks to its hybrid system, the C3 Hybrid delivers reduced fuel consumption, with an average figure in the WLTP combined cycle of around 5.4–6.1 litres per 100 km. This result is achieved thanks to the combination of the combustion engine with an electric assistance system that intervenes during acceleration and starting off, optimizing the overall efficiency of the car.
Setup and prices
Citroën C3 Hybrid is available in two trim levels:
| Preparation | Price (euro) | Basic equipment | You Pack Plus | 20.550 |
| Max | 22.190 |

Comfort and technology
The C3 Hybrid’s passenger compartment has been designed to provide passengers with maximum comfort. Citroën Advanced Comfort seats, available on the Max trim level, provide excellent support thanks to their dense padding. The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system offers advanced connectivity options, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Numerous driver assistance systems, such as automatic emergency braking and lane departure warning, are also available.
Conclusions
The new Citroën C3 Hybrid represents a significant advancement in the C3 lineup, combining energy efficiency, comfort, and advanced technology. With its contemporary design and a range of trim levels designed to suit different needs, the C3 Hybrid is an interesting choice for those looking for a versatile and eco-friendly city car.
