One of the most unusual cars on the Russian market is up for sale in Moscow – a hot rod called “Crazy Cabin,” built in 2003. The asking price for this unique project is 4.5 million rubles. The vehicle is based on a modified chassis and cabin from a ZIL-157 truck.
The project’s authors widened the front of the cabin, lowered the roof, and equipped it with a small rear platform — the vehicle was originally intended to be a tractor.
Under the hood is a 5.5-liter V8 from a GAZ-13 “Chaika”, coupled with a manual gearbox that transmits power to the rear axle.
The hot rod is officially registered as a self-made vehicle and is permitted for operation on public roads. Judging by the published photographs, the “Crazy Cabin” is in excellent condition. Built in Bishkek in 2003, this unique car managed to be featured at the Moscow Motor Show and in specialized media.
