The overall style of the new BMW X7 will not change dramatically. The next generation of the flagship crossover will surprise not with bold design experiments, but with the sensible preservation of a recognizable image, which conceals modern technical solutions.
While other BMW models are actively adopting the features of the revolutionary Neue Klasse concept, the future X7 demonstrates surprising stability. The main focus is on preserving the signature look, which will not undergo any drastic changes.
Prototypes of the new generation have already been tested, and Auto Mail editors have created their own renderings based on photographs of camouflaged cars.
At first glance, the car is easily recognizable from the front: powerful “double-decker” LED optics and impressive “nostrils” of the radiator grille remain the model’s calling card. The characteristic proportions of the body with an almost vertical C-pillar, which provides spaciousness and a majestic look, are also preserved.
Some unusual solutions are still noticeable: on test prototypes, the door handles were moved to the window sill line. Experts believe that this may be a temporary measure to hide the true design of the side panels until the official premiere. The rear of the car is decorated with wide lights and a large logo of the manufacturer between them.
