A Belarusian man contacted the Frunzensky District Department of Internal Affairs, reporting that his Kia Rio, which had previously been in Minsk, had been stolen. Police found the car in Navahrudak.

— The car was stolen by the complainant’s 34-year-old friend. The day before, the men and their girlfriend had been visiting, after which the accused, with the owner’s permission, took the car to go to the store. However, after that, he did not return the keys and drove out of town in someone else’s car to visit his parents. Before leaving, he also stole the owner’s gold ring, — the department provides details.

The man is known to have no driver’s license. The car is in good working order and the stolen jewelry was returned to its owner.
