A terrible accident on the outer ring of the Moscow Ring Road near Vaupshasova Street. A passenger car crashed into a pole, the body is badly deformed.
The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reported at about 11:40 that traffic on the ring road was difficult from Baikalskaya Street in the direction of Lipkovskaya Street due to an accident. Later, our readers began sending videos from the scene of the accident.
— I didn’t see the second participant in the accident. There are skid marks on the asphalt leading straight into the pole. I didn’t see any victims either. When I drove by, the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees had just started watching how to cut the car. The medics stood to the side, – an eyewitness gave details.
Later recordings show that part of the body had already been cut off or removed – it looks like this is how the Emergencies Ministry workers freed the victim. In the photograph published by the State Automobile Inspectorate (used in this publication as the cover photo), a stretcher can be seen.
