Volkswagen Beetle Fender converted into vintage-style go-kart by Aldekas
Those looking for an alternative to cars or wanting to take a break from public transport can thank Aldekas Studio for a “new” means of transportation that is both stylish and eco-friendly. The Mexican designer has repurposed the fenders and headlights of a Volkswagen Beetle — officially a Type 1 model dating back to the 1930s — into a miniature car (go-kart) called the Bugkart Wasowski. The kart’s curved body is attached to a bright red frame that contrasts with the olive green exterior. It has a chrome steering wheel and mirrors that imitate the original car, all this harmoniously preserves the integrity of the classic model.
